Dig-your-drive.com is part of Dick Searle Digger Hire & Construction Services, you've seen us about with our groundworks holding up the traffic surely?

Our company has been trading for well over 30 years, and were still "diggin holes" (we will go back one day and fill them in, promise) all personell and labour work directly for us, (they wouldn't get a job anywhere else anyway) they are not sub - contractors and are all highly skilled in all aspects of our profession ie. Driveway building and all associated groundworks like excavation, drainage and are very conscientious in their work. To be honest over 30 years of groundworks weve seen it all between us and what sometimes can seem like a big problem to you the customer on your job is an everyday occurance to us boys, most problems are generally easy to overcome after a board meeting, If we cant sort it , we go home. Easy!! Only joking.
 
Customer care is absolute tops and we all come house trained and do not bite!! We are also very conscious of the affect your job can have on your neighbours, so we try our utmost to keep any disruption to a minimum, anyway they will miss us when were gone so we often come back and do their drive and then annoy you!! When your works are in progress you can always go out, but who will put the kettle on?? Get the tea and coffee in ready!!

Your job will be as tidy as possible throughout the day and night, all dust will be swept under the carpet.

All plant and equipment is owned by our in house parent plant hire company, so no hanging around on site waiting for the digger to turn up, all we have to do is to learn how in the hell do you work one of those things, all those levers, hmm!!

Right, lets try again serious now but we do like a giggle. Here goes.

It is very difficult as a potential customer to try and weigh up all the pros and cons of which company to choose, which company to trust and who will really satisfy your requirements for your home improvements.

Although are prices are very competitive, we are probably not the company to use if you are looking for the cheapest quote for your home improvements. We understand that people have budgets and totally respect that but in purchasing home improvements, that is exactly what you are doing, improving your home and your standard of living and often putting extra value on your home. Compromising on price has generally brought homeowners unhappiness. There are thousands of people who have had improvements and have seen their home devalued with bad workmanship and low grade materials. We have had to put many peoples driveways 'right' over the years because of this, therefore costing you the customer. Please be aware of new companys just starting up, see driver for details watch out for cold callers weve just done a job up the road and got some left over, look out for firms with just mobile phone numbers, always get a price in writing on their company letterheaded paper. Make enquiries about them, watch it if they can start tomorrow, but want a deposit now. Be carefull of the man who takes you out the front of your house points down the road to a genuine driveway gang and tells you we can start yours as soon as we finished down there asks for some money to be going on with, never to be seen again. Weve seen it all. Please only deal with genuine companies - you approach them by picking up the phone and if you deal with the likes of firms like us, picking up the phone is the only hardest thing you will have to do for your job, we certainly look after you from then. Sorry to be a bit heavy with all that but as weve already said, weve had to put many home improvements right over the years.

Our jobs are done as if they were our own, when we start your job we do not go away untill we finished. Our reputation for quality starts with the undergroud preparation this is often the part the customer does not see, these groundworks are often constructed over and above manufactureres and surveyors specification and is the heart of a proper strong finished product. Great care and skill is then utilised for the finished surface. When were really happy with it, you certainly will be!
