Your choice of paving is now laid on the screed to an agreed pattern, cutting to the edges where required. Kiln dried sand is swept all over the whole area and then the paving is power rammed. This not only flattens the paving down to the finished level it allows the kiln dried sand to vibrate down the edges of the paving to hold it all in place.
